Ideology- The ideology of NME is to promote new and upcoming music. NME also promotes indie music. From the double page you can see how it links to the ideology as in the story it says 'A star is born' which means that the artist is upcoming and new, which fits in with the ideology of NME.
Representation- NME is represented as being a very different magazine to many music magazines as its main stories are based on new and upcoming artists (usually indie). This double page spread supports this because of how it is based on when 'Lana Del Ray' was an upcoming artist.
